Registrations rules

Sales period :

Registration will be open to the runners with a valid UTMB index only from 16/08/2023 date at 9:00 until 18/08/2023 at 9:00 (period must be 48h long). At the end of this period, registrations will be open to runners with or without valid UTMB index until 20/03/2024 at 9:00 or until the races are sold out. There will be no waiting list.

Minimum age :

Anyone 18 years old at the date of the race.

Elite Runners: In order to give fair recognition to high level athletes and to ensure a fair management of entry applications, we reserve places for elite athletes according to their Performance Index in the category of the race they chose to compete. Elite runners must register during the registration period. No registration will be accepted after the deadline. If the distance is lottery based, the elite runners must register at the same time as other athletes. Once a distance is sold out, the event organiser has the right to refuse an elite registration. All elites must register to a race at least 60 days before the race.

ENTRY FEES

• UTCC 100 : From 110€ to 170€
• CUT 73 : From 80€ to 140€
• CMT 42 : From 60€ to 90€
• CHT 20 : From 25€ to 45€
• CWR 15 : From 20€ to 40€ An additional 8% administration fee will be charged. Those administration fees are not refundable in case of cancelation.

To another runner:

Registration is personal. However, it is possible to transfer a registration to someone else until 4 weeks before the opening of the first day of bib distribution (22/02/2023) provided that the runner who will benefit from the registration transfer also meets the entry conditions listed above. A 20 euros transfer fee applies. Once the recipient has accepted and completed the transfer, the original registrant will be cancelled and refunded. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The transfer fee will be deducted automatically from the refund. Process for transfer to someone else, please contact : registrations@chiantiultratrail.com

To another race of the same event :

It is possible to transfer a registration to a shorter distance until 4 weeks before the event and in the limit of places available. In this case, no refund will be made. The event organiser must be contacted directly via email. It is also possible to ask to transfer a registration to a longer distance but the request will not be automatically accepted and will be at the discretion of the race director. Transfers are only available if the new distance is not sold out.

Registration cancellation insurance

The purpose of this cancellation insurance is to allow the runners to be fully reimbursed of the registration fee if they wishes to cancel their registration for the reasons described in the terms of sales of the insurance, available below:
